Perpetual_Poetics
Perpetual_Poetics is a collection of real-time generative digital paintings on media walls. The pieces borrow inspiration from the concept of autopoiesis from the intellectual fields of biology, cognition, systems theory, architecture, and sociology. They defined it as “a system capable of reproducing and maintaining itself by creating its own parts and eventually further components.”
The digital paintings derives the aesthetic experience from the ongoing reconstitution of their reality as a perpetual visualization of chaos and order. Using instances of noise and real-time generative coding the compositions continuously fall into a random behavior pattern and then slowly reorganize and regenerate into new organic structures that are never the same, they never repeat. Eternally creating new iterations, they echo one of the most basic conditions of nature, change.
